Driving Instructor franchise

Are you already an Instructor?

Find out about becoming a franchised driving instructor

Here at Nayland driving school we don’t use contracts or tie people in. You get your first month free; then it works on a rolling weekly basis. It’s that simple. PDIs Welcome.

  • Franchise Holiday - throughout the year you are entitled to 4 weeks off the franchise fee. This is ideal if you’re going away on a summer holiday.
  • Online booking system - We use an online booking system to take some of the pressure.
  • Personal email - Every instructor receives an email address for that professional touch. For example joebloggs@naylanddrivingschool.co.uk
  • Free head board/Sign writing - a free head board with your own personal mobile number
  • Local advertising - we will use your location to focus on internet advertising
  • Discounts on further training - This could include preparation for a standards check or Ordit training
  • No joining fee or charges for new pupils - some companies will add a charge for every pupil you are sent. Not us!

PDIs Welcome

Some driving schools won't use PDIs. However I personally came though on a trainee license and found it to be a great help if used properly. So for that reason I support and welcome them.

No hidden charges

All for £60 a week! This would be covered by 2 and half hours work a week. The rest is money goes in your pocket.

Our working area is generally Essex and Suffolk and we are based in Colchester. We can also do outside these areas.

Julia joined Nayland recently

This is what Julia had to say about her journey to becoming an ADI:

"Michael Sargent, owner of Nayland Driving School, taught me to drive a few years back as a pupil. I passed the test on my first attempt with only 3 minors. I remembered Michael being a very patient, friendly and professional instructor and I felt very comfortable with him. That's why when I decided do become an ADI I chose Nayland Driving School.

"Training was a pleasure. I continued with my beauty job whilst I trained. The learning materials were provided for all three parts. The in-car training was direct and highly professional, while still maintaining a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. All together the amazing training allowed me to pass part 1 and part 2 first time and my part 3 second time with a 5/5. However, I did have all the knowledge to pass part 3 on my first attempt.

"I decided not to go independent and stay with Nayland Driving School. The franchise fee is very reasonable; just the first couple of lessons cover the franchise fee and the rest is mine. Pupils were provided, and I've got full support from Michael at any time.

"Nayland Driving school has been the ideal way to start my own business and I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking at becoming a ADI."
